Tobias

Our unwitting hero. Loves: dancing and getting drunk. Hates: having to go on long journeys to reclaim debts and nature. At first. 

The Stranger

"Why do you dance so strangely?" he is asked. "This is how we dance in my country," he replies. He's unflappable, and he takes Tobias under his wing. 

Tobit

A devout man. Kind of ernest, and he doesn't get much more cheery when he loses a fight to a bunch of sparrows. 

Anna

She's the light to Tobit's shade, and loves her son even if he IS a slacker sometimes. 

Raguel

All he wants is to be left alone and for his daughter to marry a stupendously wealthy man. Is that too much to ask? 

Edna

She takes Raguel with a pinch of salt and is always there for her unlucky daughter. 

Sara

Always the bride. Like, seven times so far. If only her marriages lasted more than one night. 

Ashmodeus

Just lounging in his favorite house, in his favorite town. Loves: Sara. Hates: Fish hearts.
